Repairs or replacement will be performed to the building exterior walls, windows and doors, structure and MEP systems. Site modifications and repairs will also be performed to remedy existing issues. WSA responsibilities are to design accessibility upgrades, perform a LEED analysis, and assist in development of exterior renovation architectural elevations.</p>

<p>This Silver LEED certified building incorporates a gentle blend of stone and wood indigenous to Western Maryland. The design incorporates natural light and is also a careful integration of landscape architecture and exhibit design which tells the regional story. Technical features include extensive geothermal, radiant flooring, waterless urinals, the use of high performance lighting, and locally procured products.</p>

<p>This AIA Design Award winner has an energetic exterior and interior designed as a modern interpretation of the wild West. The 12-acre site includes a fishing pond, all interior design, wayfinding and theming graphics. WSA was the Architect of Record working in partnership with Visioneering Studios as the design architect. This is the first building in a multi phased plan and ultimately will become the youth building.</p>

<p>This building is where the President, Executive Branch, and visiting dignitaries arrive and depart the US. The renovation of this building included administrative spaces, INS labs, Customs Inspection areas, TV Network data ports and work areas, arrival and departure gates, and security offices involving all new interior finishes and new building systems, integrated to the base utility system.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>WSA created an upscale open plan for McCormick &amp; Company that has the flexibility to serve dining and meeting functions concurrently without interruption and live cooking demonstrations by means of a custom designed kitchen that has a mobile wall system. The space is multi-functional and expresses the McCormick brand while still appealing to an American consumer driven market. Designed fully using Revit, BIM software.</p>

This involved full renovation design for 42 historic quarters in Rhode Island and field work for approximately the same number at Portsmouth Naval Base and Earle Naval Depot Station and whole neighborhood conversion for approximately 132 units that involved the conversion of 2 merged two bedroom units to one four bedroom unit at Earle, NJ.</p>

Task orders vary in size and project type and include admin renovations, BSL-3 Labs, interior design of a 36 bed facility, and other medical related projects. The contract was awarded in November of 2010.</p>
