The Beginning of the Story
Our logo is a picture into the heart of who I am as an architect and who we are as a firm. Comprised of 45 and 30/60 degree triangles, it represents the tools of an architect. The triangles are formed into a square. Squares are a common theme with architects throughout history.
The white wedge between the red triangles picks up the idea of an upward path. A verse that is important to me found in the Bible (Phil. 3.14) is “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” This white wedge is a regular reminder for me of this goal. The red color is reflective of our lifeblood and inspires me to reflect on our essential purpose and calling as a firm as well as my own personal calling.
Together, these elements form the thoughts of using my talents with a sense of calling, for God’s glory, and to do everything with a constant pursuit of excellence.
This idea of pursuing excellence is infused in all that we do at Waldon Studio. It is found in our attitude towards design, in our use of technology and in the manner we serve our clients, and each other. We want to be the best and in pursuit of always being even better and always learning.
